Recently I’ve been exploring how to paint faster, and came upon the concept of speed painting. Mostly used for commercial applications like storyboarding and concept art, most of what I’ve seen grows out of often random rough strokes, and then roves over the whole piece adding finer and finer detail – but still leaving many of the shapes only minimally defined (in a nutshell, there’s quite a bit more to it). So I tried it out!
